Ghenghis Khan’s compatriots flocked to the new KFC restaurant in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital when it opened on Wednesday, The Huffington Post reported. New wealth from rich copper, coal and goal mines means locals now have disposable income. Electricity, cars and apparently fried chicken are making it onto the shopping list.
KFC management’s biggest problem? Once they figured out supply lines, they started fretting about how to install a drive-through window. Apparently half the cars in the once mysterious and isolated country have a right-sided steering wheel and half have a left.
